Brook South: A Flavorful New American Dining Experience in Tulsa

We tried this for the first time, and we were completely impressed!! The atmosphere is like an upscale diner. Not knowing what the portion sizes were like, we ordered everything in the full size instead of the half. The portion sizes are huge! And the food is excellent! We definitely brought home what we couldn't eat! The service was super friendly!! We will definitely be back to try more items!

Like so many restaurants, Brook South is serving slightly smaller portions of our favorites. We've noticed this the last couple of times we've been for lunch. Also, the quality of the lettuce and tomatoes in the salads, which has always been excellent, has not been the same. Sadly, the Brookie, a delicious brownie dessert, is also a smaller portion. We will be back and hope the food is back to what we are used to enjoying.

2/12/26 First time here, but definitely not the last! We arrived a little before lunch, and by 12, the place was packed – always a good sign. We received excellent customer service, and the food was delicious and reasonably priced, even with today's increased costs. Plus, the portions were huge and perfectly cooked!

I came here with a large group of people and we were able to get a table pretty fast. The portions at this place are insane! We ordered some of their cheese fries as an appetizer and the platters were huge. My chicken tender plate was also big, and the food was delicious. The service was really good and we just had an overall great experience.

I probably chose the wrong menu option, but the bread I got for my sandwich was soggy like hell. Not Good. I couldn’t even eat it so I just left it there. BUT, the portions for each meal are HUGE. I got an appetizer of cheese fries with bacon, and THERE WAS TOO MUCH BACON. But the portion of the fries and cheese were PLENTY. So, I was satisfied. Now, the service was busy. Are service quality didn’t seem as the best, but it was still really responsible and solid. Nothing to complain about. The overall design and atmosphere of the place has a rustic style, which is pretty cool I’d say. Nothing to complain about there. Overall, this place was just a solid place with PLENTY OF PORTIONS on my food. Next time I visit, I will choose a different meal.

My husband, kids and I tried the brooke for the first time last week. I was so impressed with how fast and fresh our food came out. The service was outstanding. Our kids really enjoyed our waitress Shelly I think. She was hilarious and very prompt. When we were ready to go she already had almost everything off our table. Definitely will be back!

First time trying this place and I 100% agree with reviews that say portions are enormous. I had the chicken fried steak and you could see what was left from the photos. Very large side salad and fresh tasting mashed potatoes. The fish n chips half order was plenty for the other person with me. Good food great service and priced well. Try it out!

We love the Brook for its atmosphere and good food. The wait staff is excellent. Tator tots and chicken fried steak are one of our favorites. We also recommend hamburgers and quesadillas!
